Method

Every morning, Sovora gathers security reporting on the regions we cover from international and local outlets, in English and French. Each report is read and recorded with its date, place, type of event, groups involved and casualties.

Reports that describe the same event are merged into one incident, with a count of sources and a confidence level. Clients see the result on a live map, in a weekly written brief, and through plain questions such as whether the road to their site is getting riskier.

We use public sources only. We track events and trends, never private individuals. Every incident links back to the reporting behind it, and when the reporting is thin or contradictory, we say so.
